Indigenous film festival for Magnetic tomorrow

From Tomorrow evening Magnetic Island will be treated to a Yunbenum (Magnetic Island) Film Festival - a NAIDOC event which includes a marathon, five hours of comedies, short films and documentaries.

The festival is being presented by the Wulgurukaba Aboriginal Corporation in association with the National Film and Sound Archive Australia, Black Screen Australia and the Magnetic Island Film Society.

The festival, which is free (donations accepted), also includes a BBQ. It starts at 4pm and runs until 9pm and will be screened at 26 Mango Parkway, Nelly Bay.

B#gger!!! - I wish I'd know about this earlier :-(.
I also wish (the now quite old) Babakiueria (“Barbecue Area”) was included - I'd love for my kids to see it.
