World Oceans Day this Saturday

It's a huge weekend coming up on Magnetic Island with World Oceans Day (WOD) on Saturday as well as the Picnic Bay School Reunion (more to come). WOD, organised by Tourism Operators & Business Magnetic Island (TOBMI) and Base Backpackers, looks like it will be pretty huge starting with a beach clean-up at Nelly Bay with loads of action through to and including a fly past by the Red Barron seaplane to take a photo of Magnetic Islanders forming the letters "WOD" on the beach by standing together in formation. There's lots more and the schedule follows.
