magnetictimes.com photo archives

magnetictimes.com has over 3,000 photos of Magnetic Island life and we are keen that you, our visitors, can see and enjoy them. To find any of our recent and archival photos use our search engine located on our Shot on the Rock photo album (click on the photo displayed near the top left corner on any page)or just click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Once you arrive in Shot on the Rock you will see a big (right side) column of photo subjects with the the number of photos indicated in brackets.

Find your photo
To quickly find a photo of yourself or anybody else who you think we might have photographed, simply enter their name into the search engine in the top right corner. Once you find the photo you are seeking you can double click on it to open the option to use our e-postcard function.

Send any photo as an e-postcard
This is a service magnetictimes.com provides which is almost unknown on the internet. Many sites have postcards but as an active news site we make all the photos we take available to send as an e-postcard. The service is great fun, allows you to send an e-postcard to anybody you have an email address for and it is FREE. To do this just click through on the option you will see once you have clicked on your selected photograph and complete the dialogue box.

Order a high quality print
Another option is to order a high resolution photo print from us. Please understand that the photos you see on screen are very low resolution (not very sharp). We have to do this or they will make our site very slow to load and take up too much server space. We retain the high resolution originals for photo printing and can provide you with beautiful prints from these - once ordered. Just use the print order option to let us know.

Magnetictimes.com does not normally provide copies of our high resolution jpeg photo files as this can lead to a misuse of our copyright.
