See Gatsby and help two great causes

Amnesty International and the North Queensland Conservation Council are hosting the Townsville premier screening of the Great Gatsby (in 3D) tomorrow night.

A fun night is expected for this movie everybody is talking about and movie goers are encouraged to come as dapper flappers! So, if you can find something a little bit 1920s, then Gatsby-up. But it's only optional so don't feel like you cannot come without a natty hat or a silk scarf.

And if you want to help NQCC/AI but canít make the movie? Why not buy a ticket for someone else as an act of random kindness Ė NQCC/AI will make sure the ticket gets to someone who otherwise would not be able to come along! A genuine win-win-win!

I don't know what it is with Baz Lurhurman but he turns his movies into cartoons with 2 dimensional characters. I thought it was tacky compared to the most recent version with Robert Redford and left early.
