Urgent: Pool position to be filled

We have received a rather late request to see if there is anybody who may be able to take on, at very short notice, the paid position of running the Gerry Winn Pool. For the details read below.

Notice of Hours / Position Vacant
Due to the lack of availability of volunteers to provide supervision, the pool will be open from Sunday to Thursday only, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, until further notice. It will still open in the mornings from 6am to 7.30am.

We would like to employ a person/s to provide supervision on Fridays from 4.30 6.30pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Duties include supervising swimmers, maintaining records of the numbers of swimmers, handling small amounts of money, cleaning of bathrooms and pool surrounds and providing a friendly welcome to pool users.

Required (minimum) qualifications are a current CPR certificate. Preferred qualifications are a current first aid certificate or Bronze Medallion. The position is available for immediate start.
