Remembering Brad Morris

Following is a short reflection on Brad Morris who died on Magnetic Island in 2004 by his mother Lindsay Wright.

Brad Morris.

You are:

Truly inspirational to others
A gifted human being, naturally talented and wise
An old soul even though we didn't always recognise it..

A visit from a dear old friend of yours
Had us awe-struck about your genuine nature
and the advice you gave him, which impacted on his life
Marked by your leadership teaching and strength
He is passing it on to his family
An imprint has been formed forever

We miss times with you even though they were so few and you were so far away
Memories of these times are so close to our hearts
Shine on brightly as you always do

Love Mum, Lindsay and Maxi

4 September 1982 - 5 February 2004

There's not a day that goes by without us thinking of you
A new song on the radio, and I'd think, yeah Brad would like that!"
Or when I cook your favourite dish - Lasagne, you're right next to me in the
kitchen, giving a hand.
Your "Uncle Brad" to Zeph & baby Koen, I'll make sure their Angel is never
I miss your crazy laugh, your smile. But most of all I miss your voice, always
just a phone call away.
You had such an impact on so many people, and yet you didn't even know it!
Your energy, your wisdom, your strength, will never be forgotten.

Your Loving sister Yvette, and Dave, Zeph and Koen.

And J.L, we all thank you for being there. You were a great mate.
We'll never forget.
Brad's Mum.

Tonia In reply to The ongoing price of Nelly Bay Harbour
It's 14 years since I last visited Maggy. I am shocked by Nelly Bay and saddened. It is insensitive, ugly and juxtaposed to the essence of Maggy. I embrace progress in general, but this is poorly conceived and executed. Shame.
