News from the Sports & Recreation Club

Two great movies for October are The Day After Tomorrow and Michael Moore's, Fahrenheit 9/11. There's also talk about starting a regular social game of cricket. And if you wanna tone up for summer maybe you should join the Gym. For more details read on....

15th & 16th October -
The Day After Tomorrow

In Independence Day Roland Emmerich bought you the near destruction of the earth by aliens. Now in The Day After Tomorrow the enemy is an even more devastating force: nature itself.

Tornadoes rip Los Angles apart; Massive snow storm pounds New Delhi; hail the size of grapefruit batters Tokyo; And in New York City the temperature swings from sweltering to freezing in one day.

In this special effects packed, highly anticipated event motion picture, an abrupt climate change has cataclysmic consequences for the entire planet.

Movie Starts 8pm

22nd & 23rd October -
Fahrenheit 9/11

Now you can see the most famous doco ever made when, searing critic and comic commentator, Michael Moore, George Bush's wittiest enemy, puts together his own version of the the events leading up to and during the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre in New York on September 11th

Syl Hayes In reply to Fair raises $15,000 for school
What a wonderful outcome for the school! I had a great time face-painting with Luke and Sasha, met lots of kids and parents, scored some great books at the Trash n Treasure stall, and even remembered to vote. Everywhere you looked people were enjoying themselves...such a tribute to the organisers. Well done!
